Is your child ready for Kindergarten? If your child is four or five years old by December 31, 2026, registration is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

1. Find your school.

2. Register online. Sign up for an LKDSB Parent/Guardian account​ in our secure Aspen Student Information System and follow the steps to register a Kindergarten student. Instructions on how to create an account can be found here​​.

3. Come and meet our caring staff on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm and Friday, January 30, 2026 from 9:00am – 3:00 pm.

​​​To complete your registration, remember to bring:

• ​Birth certificate or proof of Canadian Citizenship or Residency Status (if appropriate)

• Proof of residency (e.g. utility or tax bill, lease/rental agreement, etc.)

• Emergency contact information

• Your child!

​The Ministry of Education requires that every student have a complete and up-to-date immunization record on file with the local Health Unit in order to attend school. Contact Chatham-Kent Public Health or Lambton Public Health to ensure your immunization records are up-to-date.​
