Our school celebrated Franco-Ontarian Day in style! 💚 Students dressed in green and white and waved the flag with pride. It was *ooh là là* levels of fun! Vive la francophonie! 💚🤍
Collectively, our school created the word LEARN using orange shirts — a powerful symbol of reflection and commitment to understanding the impact of residential schools.
Our intermediate students, who have been learning about this important history throughout their elementary years, expressed their thoughts and reflections through thoughtful artwork on orange-painted rocks.
This year, we have partnered with Fresh from the Farm for a unique fundraising partnership between the Ontario Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association and our school community. The Vegetable bundle includes: 5 lb of potatoes, 3 lb of carrots, 3 lb of yellow onions, and 3 lb of sweet potatoes—all for just $22.00. The Apple bundle includes 8 pounds of premium Ambrosia apples for just $24.00. These apples are perfect for snacking, baking pies, making applesauce, or adding to salads.
