Our students are turning words into wonders with a little help from AI! This masterpiece? All cake. Literally. His monster is made of chocolate cake — talk about a sweet nightmare. 🍰👹

Check out the recess colouring club! Students organized their own recess fun!

Tomorrow is the day to show your spirit and support our favourite Canadian baseball team! Wear blue and white to root for the Toronto Blue Jays!

🍂☀️ Teachers know how to make the most of both sunshine and school time! Whether it’s a math lesson on the playground or reading under a tree, they’re turning golden weather into golden learning moments. 📚💛

Recognizing the quantity 5 instantly—whether on fingers or a ten frame—strengthens subitizing skills, a foundational concept in early numeracy. This ability supports mental math, number sense, and more advanced arithmetic understanding. Parents can boost their child’s math success by practicing quick visual recognition of numbers like 5 in everyday moments.

Disney vibes took over the halls yesterday! Staff and students went all out—Boo, Sulley, and Mike showed up in style. Who knew school spirit came with mouse ears and monster feet? 💫

Look at these two hard at work on CVC (consonant vowel consonant) words! 📚💬
From making breakfast to helping us learn and grow, our volunteers are pure Husky magic. 🐾💙
Thanks for all you do!

📚 Caught in the act! 📚
No, this isn’t a staged photo — our older students were *actually* caught mid-chapter, totally hooked on their books! 😲👏
From graphic novels to epic adventures, they're turning pages like pros. Who knew reading could look this cool? 😎
Shoutout to our book-loving big kids for showing us that reading isn’t just fundamental — it’s fabulous! 💥📖

🎉 Jeudi, c’était la fête! 🎉
Our school celebrated Franco-Ontarian Day in style! 💚 Students dressed in green and white and waved the flag with pride. It was *ooh là là* levels of fun! Vive la francophonie! 💚🤍

Collectively, our school created the word LEARN using orange shirts — a powerful symbol of reflection and commitment to understanding the impact of residential schools.
Our intermediate students, who have been learning about this important history throughout their elementary years, expressed their thoughts and reflections through thoughtful artwork on orange-painted rocks.

Yesterday was a wheelie fun day! 🚍💛 Our students learned all about bus safety with the help of Buster the Bus — honks, laughs, and lots of learning included! 🚌✨
A special thanks to the bus drivers who educated the students on the bus!

Knowing the combinations that make 10 is critical knowledge for all of our students. Pictured below: Students representing those combinations of 10 on a ten frame. Does your child know the combinations of 10? If you say 6, can your child quickly say 4? This is something everyone can practice!

The Hannah Huskies sure know how to throw a party—what a paws-itively amazing time we had at the school social! Huge thanks to everyone who came out and made it a night to remember! 🐾💙🎉
Thanks school council, staff, Special Constable N.M. and Trustee Short for hosting!

Thanks Sarnia Police for keeping us informed about online safety!
